Achtung Baby is undoutedly one of U2's masterpiece albums. Rolling Stone claimed All That You Can't Leave Behind as the
3rd of the 3 U2 masterpieces; including The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby and All That You Can't Leave Behind.
As for Achtung Baby, it is one of my favorites. From the stark black and white photos to the technicolor pictures that
adorn the sleeve. From the first salvos of "Zoo Station" to the final note of "Love Is Blindness", it is apparent that there
is something important, urgent and grande here.
Lyrically it is a trip through 'dark town', it is a journey of dark roads, love lost, long nights and betrayal. While
the title suggest throwaway or kitsch, the album is, as Bono stated, a 'heavy mother'.
This site is dedicated to one of my all-time favorite albums and things related to it.
